Program Description/Overview

Are you new to the HR or T&D industry...are you a seasoned HR or T&D professional looking for additional training...are you PHR/SPHR/GPHR certified trying to earn continuing education credit? We can help!

Take the courses in any order you wish. Earn your certificate in as little as a few months - or stretch it out over a longer period of time. We can work with you!

But what's the best thing about our courses? Our instructors. Our courses are taught by a variety of specialists - all of whom are experts in their field. We have UNC Charlotte faculty as well as industry professionals working with us to bring you the highest quality courses. And they all have the ability to share knowledge in a way that's both fun and informative.

 
Certificate Requirements

To earn an Advanced Training and Development Certificate you must complete 2 core courses and 6 electives. Take the courses in any order you wish.  Core courses are not required to be taken prior to electives.

To receive your record of attendance, full participation is expected. Participants must be present at the beginning of each course and be in attendance through the duration of each course in order to receive the record of attendance. Credit hours will only be adjusted under extenuating circumstances.

Please review the certificate course requirements below first to plan your curriculum for completion of the certificate. Then view the scheduled section dates for these courses in order to register for the section of the course that best fits your schedule.

What are the attendance requirements?


If you have completed the Training and Development Generalist Certificate (5 core classes and 3 electives) you need only take three more T&D Advanced Courses that have not already been taken to achieve the Advanced T&D Certificate.
