Program Description/Overview

The PHR/SPHR Exam Review will prepare the Human Resource Professional to sit for either the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) exam.

Professional certification is a must for the serious Human Resources Professional. Greater and greater emphasis is being placed on credentialing.  It is especially important for the non-degreed Human Resource Professional. The PHR or SPHR title certifies that the bearer is instantly recognized as a knowledgeable professional.

Highlights of the course include: testing study manual (over 350 pages), learning games, case studies, and “cheat sheets” (condensed study materials).

The correct answer is D – All of the above!!!"

Monica Museler, PHR

Spring, 2006

The class was a "must have" for anyone wanting to pursue this distinction in our field.  The variety and different methods of teaching really helped me to understand the content.  I used it all... the lecture, CD's, flashcards, book, games, and tests.  David Siler’s teaching style is one that allows the learner to apply difficult concepts and relate them back to real life examples.  This is extremely helpful when taking this type abstract/subjective exam.  I also recommend this class for anyone wanting to grow their body of knowledge in Human Resources.  I am very grateful to be able to use this experience to further my career.

Thanks again for offering this course!
