Mandy Carter, Esq.

Mandy CarterMandy Carter is an adjunct professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she teaches media law, debate, and public speaking. She has been involved in legal education since 2010 where she worked at a North Carolina law school teaching courses in legal research and writing, civil litigation, commercial agreements, and professional responsibility. She has also taught courses focused on paralegal studies since 2015. Carter is proud to be a double-Tar Heel having graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003 with a double major in Journalism and Political Science and from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2006. Carter was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2006, after which she focused on the practice areas of real estate and trusts and estates. In her free time, Carter enjoys spending time with her family, training for races (even though she runs slower than a turtle stuck in peanut butter), and brainstorming ways to engage and challenge her ever-capable students.
