Course Overview

Participants will learn about the various types of white-collar crimes, with a focus on embezzlement and asset misappropriation. The course will highlight fraud risks and schemes used to perpetrate fraud. Through instruction and case examples, participants will learn about methods of detecting potential fraud. In addition to discussing the forensic accounting principles, participants will also learn about the legal aspects of internal investigations, including applicable laws, prosecutorial process, and recovering losses.
