Camps on Campus Spotlight: Star-Wars LEGO Engineering!

Lego CampsUNC Charlotte Camps on Campus invites you and your 1st through 6th grader to consider our JEDI LEGO™ Engineering camps, a partnership with Play-Well TEKnologies. These camps are a half day in length and are conveniently located on the UNC Charlotte campus.

This camp is a perfect fit for young enthusiasts interested in Star Wars, engineering, LEGOs™, or all three.

The sessions for the 1st and 2nd graders will have the mornings to explore worlds far away while examining engineering principles right here on earth. They’ll have the chance to design and build X-Wings, R2-units, and settlements. They’ll also experiment with motorized and architectural projects.

The afternoon classes for 3rd through 6th graders will tackle more complex machines and structures based on designs from the franchise. They may build AT-AT walkers one day and Pod racers the next. Play-Well’s instructors reinforce key engineering concepts such as gear trains, work drives, and pneumatics.

These camps are offered the last week of June and the last full week of July, and space is limited. Register your camper for these or other camps online at or by phone at (704) 687-8900.
