The MPA Management Academy is a professional development certificate program (not for undergraduate or graduate degree credit) intended for supervisors and high-potential staff working in the government and nonprofit sectors. The focus during the 3-day program is on key skills needed for management success in the unique environment of government and/or nonprofit and integrates concepts provided by MPA faculty from UNC Charlotte with practical knowledge and experience from local community leaders.

Attendance Requirements

To receive your record of attendance, full participation is expected. Participants must be present at the beginning of each course and be in attendance through the duration of each course in order to receive the record of attendance. Credit hours will only be adjusted under extenuating circumstances.

All 3 modules are required in order to earn the certificate.
